Hijama Therapist – Intern

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hijama Therapist Intern to support our traditional therapy department. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in Hijama (wet and dry cupping therapy) under the supervision of certified practitioners, with the goal of fostering professional growth and preparing interns for future clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist certified Hijama practitioners during cupping therapy sessions.
• Prepare therapy rooms and ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
• Learn and support the application of both wet and dry cupping techniques.
• Observe and record patient responses to treatments as directed.
• Educate patients (under guidance) on post-session care and wellness practices.
• Maintain a respectful and compassionate approach toward all clients.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic certification in Hijama or enrolled in a related training program.
• Strong interest in natural and traditional healing practices.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, anatomy, and basic therapy procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a clinical setting under supervision.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• UAE residency preferred (or valid internship eligibility).
